Birdeye Review Reports help businesses analyze review performance, review response behavior, review sentiment, employee-level review activity, and QR code-driven review activity from one place.
These reports are available under the Reports section in Birdeye and are designed to help you understand:
How many reviews does your business receive?
How ratings change over time
How quickly are reviews answered?
How to review sentiment trends over time
How employees perform in review generation and response
How QR codes contribute to review traffic and engagement
Who can use these reports?
Review Reports are available to Birdeye users with access to the Reports section.
Some reports are available only for specific account types:
Relative location rank reports are available for multi-location or enterprise accounts only.
By location reports are available for enterprise customers only.
Outcomes Report
The Outcomes tab includes ready-made reports that help users monitor key review metrics without building a custom dashboard.
To open the Reviews Outcomes report:
Click the ‘Outcomes’ tab and select ‘Reviews.’
The Reviews Outcomes report helps you analyze the following metrics:

Change the Time Period in the Outcomes Report
By default, the report time period is Last 12 months.
To change it:
Click the current time filter, such as Last 12 months.
Under the ‘Filter by’ tab, click ‘Last 12 months.’
Select the desired time period and click ‘Apply.’
You can also use Compare period to compare the current report against:
Previous period
Before Birdeye
This helps businesses compare current review performance with an earlier time range or with performance before adopting Birdeye.

Each of these reports is designed to answer a different question about review performance.
Review & Ratings Report
The Review & ratings report helps businesses analyze the total number of reviews received and the average rating for a selected time period.
Hover over the 'Reviews and ratings' section to view the 'Reviews & ratings' report.
This report is grouped into the following views:
Over time
By rating
By sentiment
By source
By employee
By location
What does the Over Time view show?
The Over time view shows:
The total number of reviews received during the selected period.
The average rating during that period.
This report helps businesses understand how review volume and average rating change over time.
When you hover over a bar or point in the chart, you can view detailed data for that specific period, such as:
Number of reviews
Average rating
The report includes projected data for the remaining days of the current month, offering an estimate for the full month and the current number of reviews and ratings.
Change the time range in Review & Ratings
To change the time range:
Click the filter icon
Choose a time period
Available options include:
Yearly
Quarterly
Monthly
Weekly
Daily
Last 60 days
Custom date range
Projected data is displayed only when the selected date range exceeds one day.
Customize the Review & Ratings Report
Click the Customize icon to change how the report is displayed.
You can customize:
Chart style
Display interval
Filters for location
Review sites
Ratings
Time period
Click ‘Update’ after customizing the report.
You can view the report in:
Line chart format
Bar chart format
Table format
In a table format, you can view text-based values such as:
Review count
Average rating
Animated visualization in Review & Ratings
The Review & ratings report also supports animated visualization for selected views, including:
By rating
By sentiment
By source
By employee
Click the Play button at the top right of the report to view the animation.
Cumulative Reports in Review & ratings
The Review & ratings section also supports cumulative reporting.
When cumulative reporting is enabled, each month includes data from all previous months in the selected period.
For example:
February includes ratings and reviews from January and February
March includes January, February, and March, and so on.
To enable cumulative reporting:
Open Customize
Select View aggregated data
Click Update

Click the three vertical dots to view the options. Users can:

To send a review report by email:

A drawer opens on the right side, where you can configure:

The subject and body include pre-filled placeholder text, but both can be edited before sending.
Click Send to email the report.
Schedule Review Reports
To schedule a review report:
Click the three vertical dots
Select Schedule
Users can configure:
Delivery frequency
Date range
Report timing
Export format
Reports can typically be scheduled for delivery in:

The 'By source' review report displays the average number of reviews and ratings received from the different review sources.
Scroll down to view reviews and ratings by source, displayed individually.
Review & Ratings by Location
The By location view shows reviews and ratings for all business locations.
This report helps businesses compare how locations perform in terms of:
Total reviews
Average rating
Hovering over a location bar typically displays:

Relative Location Rank Report
The Relative location rank report helps businesses compare location performance against other locations within the same account.
This report is available only for enterprise customers.
It helps answer questions such as:
Which locations perform best compared with others?

The Response time report helps businesses measure how long it takes to respond to reviews.

This helps businesses understand whether response performance is improving or slowing down over time.

The By employee view shows how long each employee takes, on average, to respond to reviews.

The Review tags report helps businesses analyze which review tags appear most often and where those tags are being used.
This report is grouped into three views:
Over time
By count
By location
Review Tags Over Time
The Review tags over time view shows tag usage over a selected period.
To analyze a specific tag:
Click Customize
Go to the Filters section
Select the desired tag
Click Update
After applying the filter, the chart shows the number of reviews included that tag during each time period.
Review Tags by Count
The By count view shows how many reviews are associated with each tag.
This helps businesses identify the most frequently mentioned review themes.
You can hover over a bar to view the exact review count for a selected tag.
Review Tags by Location
The By location view shows how many reviews associated with a selected tag were received by each location.
This report helps businesses identify where a specific theme appears most often.
For example, if the selected tag is best, the report shows which locations received the highest number of reviews containing that tag.
Hovering over a bar displays the review count for that location.
Leaderboard Report
The Leaderboard report helps businesses track employee performance in review generation and review outcomes.
It includes the following sections:
Review requested by employee
Reviews by employee
Reviews distribution by employee
Review rating by employee
Review Requested by Employee
This report shows the total number of review requests sent by employees.
It also shows a breakdown by employee name so businesses can identify who is sending the most requests.
Use this report to evaluate team participation in review generation efforts.
Reviews by Employee
This report shows the total number of reviews received across all employees, with a breakdown by employee.
Use this report to understand which employees are associated with the highest number of received reviews.
Reviews Distribution By Employee
This report shows how reviews received by each employee are distributed by star rating.
The breakdown includes:
5 star
4 star
3 star
2 star
1 star
No rating
This helps businesses understand not just how many reviews an employee receives, but also the quality distribution of those reviews.
Hovering over a bar shows the detailed count for each rating bucket.
NOTE:
No rating represents text reviews without a rating, as well as ‘Recommended’ and ‘Not Recommended’ reviews on Facebook.
Review Rating by Employee
This report shows:
The total number of reviews received by an employee during the selected period
The employee’s average rating

The Review QR Codes report helps businesses analyze how QR codes contribute to review activity and engagement.

This section shows the total number of QR codes:
Scans
Clicks
Within the selected time period.
This helps businesses understand QR code engagement trends over time and evaluate campaign performance.
Hovering over a bar shows the detailed scan and click data for that period.
QR Code Performance By Source
This section shows how many scans or submissions were generated by each source.
Examples of QR code sources shown in the report may include:
Google
Your website
Facebook
Direct feedback
Airbnb, and more.
This helps businesses identify which channels are driving the most QR code engagement.
QR Code Scan To Click Conversion
This section compares:
Total QR code scans
Total clicks generated from those scans
This helps businesses measure how effectively QR code scans turn into clicks and understand engagement efficiency.
QR Code Performance By Location
This section shows QR code performance for each business location, including:
Scans
Clicks
Click-through rate
This helps businesses identify which locations generate the strongest QR code engagement.
If only one location has a QR code scan and click activity, this section may display data for that single location only.
Reviews Read Report
The Reviews read report helps businesses understand how often review content is being viewed across Birdeye and website channels. It provides visibility into review-reading activity by location, making it easier to identify where customers are engaging most with published reviews.
This report displays the total number of reviews read for each location and breaks the data down by source:
Website – reviews viewed on the business website.
Birdeye – reviews viewed within Birdeye.
At the top of the report, users can view the overall totals for:
Total reviews read
Birdeye reads
Website reads
The bar chart shows location-wise review read activity, with each bar segmented by source so users can compare how review views are distributed across Birdeye and website channels.
