How do I reassign reviews to their correct location within Birdeye?
A business with multiple locations is very likely to have separate review listings for each of its business locations. Sometimes a customer may accidentally post a review for a location different from the one he/she visited. Ordinarily, this may not impact anything and you can leave it as it is. However, if you incentivize the location managers based on the number of reviews they get, you may want to set the record straight by reassigning the review to the correct location. You can fix this by reassigning reviews to the correct location, either individually or in bulk. Please note that this reassigning of reviews only impacts review attribution within the Birdeye dashboard. It does not change how the reviews show up on the 3rd party site on which they were written.
Single review reassign
In your 'Reviews' tab, if you notice a review has been posted for an incorrect location, hover over the 'More' icon and from the drop-down menu click on the 'Reassign location' button.
A window will pop up with the option to select a new location. Once you’ve found the right one, click on the 'Apply' button.
Now, you should see the correct location on the top right corner, and the reassigned review will show up when you filter your review feed for the updated location. Changes are automatically synced with all reports, including spreadsheet and PDF downloads.
Bulk review reassign
Select all the reviews you would like to reassign to their correct location. Click on the icon at the top of your feed with the two arrows.
The same window will pop up. Select the correct location, click on “Apply” button, and all these reviews will be reassigned to that location.
