How do I respond to reviews from my Birdeye account?
- Click on the 'Reviews' tab.
- Click on 'All' and it will display the received reviews.
- Click on 'Haven't replied', which will show the only reviews that you haven't replied to.
RESPONDING TO REVIEWS ON AN INTEGRATED SOURCE
NOTE:
Here is the up-to-date compilation of review sources that have been integrated—Google, Facebook, ApartmentGuide.com, Rent.com, Caredash, Apartments.com, Birdeye, and Direct Feedback.
- Click on the ‘Reply' tab.
- Select a 'Template', the template content will auto-populate in the response box.
- Click on the 'Post reply' button on the bottom right.
NOTE:
- There are multiple templates available by default within the dashboard. Additional response templates will appear in the drop-down once you add new templates under the 'Settings' tab.
- You also have the ability to edit the template content to customize it, or you can continue to respond using the auto-populated template content.
- Birdeye supports aggregating photos/videos in Google reviews to show in the dashboard.
RESPONDING TO REVIEWS ON A NON-INTEGRATED SOURCE
- Navigate to the 'Review.'
- Click on the corresponding 'Reply' button.
- Select a 'Review Response Template' from the new pop-up window.
- The text from the selected template will be copied to the clipboard.
- Click on the 'Continue' button, you will be then redirected to the third-party review site.
- Once on the review site, log in to your account.
- Paste the copied template response into the text body and post your response.

BULK MANUAL REVIEW REPLIES
Click ‘Three vertical dots’ on the top right of the screen.
Select 'Reply' under 'Bulk Actions.'
Choose the number of reviews you want to reply manually to (up to 30 allowed) and click the 'Reply' button on the top right of the screen.
Add a personalized reply or choose from existing templates. Once the reply is entered, click ‘Post reply.’
MESSAGE REVIEWER
You can also get in touch with a reviewer by sending a message that will not appear under reviews but will be directly sent to the reviewer.
- Click on the 'Chat icon' right in between 'Actions' and 'Reply.'
- A new screen (inbox) will pop up on the right side
- Type a message in the new screen on the right side.
- Click on 'Send' to push the message directly to the reviewer.
NOTE:
You can also click on the email notification ‘Message’ button and will be redirected to the ‘Inbox’ conversation, which allows you to message the reviewer.
AI-suggested Review Responses
AI-generated review responses can now be posted with just one click from the dashboard or the alert email. AI-suggested responses appear for every non-responded review and will also be available for non-integrated sources.
NOTE:
This feature is available only for US-based locations/businesses for now.
Ensure that BirdAI is enabled in your account. Go to ‘Settings’ and click ‘Manage BirdAI.’
Toggle the switch to enable. If it is disabled, it will not generate an AI-suggested response.
Go to ‘Reviews,’ and you will view an AI-suggested response under every non-responded review. Click ‘Post reply’ to respond.
Suggested replies are also available within the email alerts.
