Integrating Birdeye with AthenaPractice
AthenaPractice is an electronic medical record (EMR) and Practice Management System (PMS) used in large physician practices. Users can manage appointment schedules, billing, e-prescription, lab integration, reporting and analytics. Integrating Birdeye with AthenaPractice will automate the process of sending out review requests to patients on a daily basis.
Once integrated with AthenaPractice, Birdeye pulls patient information from AthenaPractice once daily for the appointments that were completed on the previous day. Birdeye allows you to fetch data from your CRM using some predefined triggers. Here are the supported triggers for AthenaPractice:
Trigger name | Trigger description |
PMS Appointment Trigger | This trigger is used to fetch customer data based on the completed appointments. |
To set up the integration with Birdeye, please reach out to the Birdeye technical support team @ 1-800-561-3357 Ext. 3 or email them at - support@birdeye.com. Birdeye technical support team will successfully set up the integration with AthenaPractice through BE Connector.
What is BE Connector?
The BE Connector application is a native Windows application for healthcare businesses. Most healthcare businesses use a practice management system (PMS) to manage their patients. The BE Connector application helps integrate the PMS and Birdeye system so that the process of sending review requests to patients after their appointment is entirely automated.
The installation and setup process is driven by an intuitive wizard. To set up the integration, you first have to download and install the app on the machine that has access to the PMS. Once the integration is complete, the BE Connector will start pulling data from the PMS and send the data to the server for further processing. Review requests are sent as per the configurations and preferences set by the business on BE Connector.
How it works:
- Install BE Connector on Athena Practice Server
- Integrate Athena Practice with BE Connector
- BE Connector’s services will start pulling patient data from the PMS and automatically send review requests based on the Scheduling configuration defined.
Birdeye collects the first name, last name, email address and phone number of your patients and automatically sends them review requests.
