Facebook Page Disabled Due to Advertising Policy Violations

Overview

This issue occurs when Meta has disabled a Facebook Page due to advertising policy violations or suspicious advertising activity. A disabled Page cannot be used for publishing, messaging, or other API-based actions through Birdeye until Meta restores access.

Why This Happens

Meta may disable a Facebook Page if it detects violations of its advertising policies, suspicious advertising behavior, or activity that does not comply with its platform standards. When a Page is disabled, all publishing and API interactions for that Page are blocked until the restriction is removed by Meta.

How to Resolve the Issue

  1. Log in to Facebook and review the reason why the Page was disabled through the Meta Business Help Center.

  2. If you believe the Page was disabled in error, submit an appeal through Meta's Account Quality dashboard or the appeal process provided by Meta.

  3. Wait for Meta to review your appeal. The review process may take several business days.

  4. Once Meta restores the Page, reconnect the Facebook Page in Birdeye Settings, under Integrations, select Facebook, and verify that publishing is working correctly.

If the Issue Persists

If the Page remains disabled after submitting an appeal, continue working with Meta Support through the Business Help Center. Birdeye cannot override or remove Page-level restrictions imposed by Meta.

Additional Information

  • This is a Meta-imposed restriction and cannot be resolved from within Birdeye.

  • A disabled Facebook Page cannot be used for publishing, messaging, or API integrations until Meta restores access.

  • If the appeal is approved and the Page is re-enabled, reconnecting the Page in Birdeye may be required to refresh the integration.
