Overview
If you receive a message indicating that your Facebook account has limited access, Facebook has temporarily restricted certain actions on your account. During this period, some features and third-party integrations, including Birdeye, may not function as expected.
Why This Happens
Facebook may temporarily limit access to an account due to security concerns, unusual activity, or policy enforcement. These restrictions are applied by Facebook and can prevent connected applications from performing certain actions until the limitation is removed.
How to Resolve the Issue
Visit Facebook's Help Center to understand why your account has limited access:
https://www.facebook.com/help/855957057754290/?helpref=uf_shareFollow any instructions provided by Facebook to restore full account access. This may include identity verification, reviewing recent account activity, or completing additional security checks.
Avoid repeatedly reconnecting your Facebook account in Birdeye while the restriction is active, as this will not remove the account limitation.
After Facebook restores full access to your account, reconnect your Facebook Page in Birdeye if necessary.
If the Issue Persists
If your account continues to have limited access after completing Facebook's recommended steps:
Check for any remaining security alerts or pending actions in your Facebook account.
Review the guidance provided in Facebook's Help Center.
Contact Facebook Support if you believe the restriction was applied in error or requires further review.
Additional Information
This limitation is enforced by Facebook and cannot be removed from Birdeye. Third-party applications can regain access only after Facebook restores the account's permissions.
