How to edit a survey?

Navigate to the survey you wish to edit. Hover over the corresponding three-dots icon and click on the 'Edit survey' option.

Delete

NOTE:

You can only edit the surveys you have access to.

On the next page, you can view all the questions existing within the survey. Make the changes you want and click on the 'Save survey' button.

NOTE:

To edit a ‘Running’ survey, you have to 'Unlock' it and then proceed. Editing an ongoing survey may impact the survey results.  Birdeye allows deleting questions, answer choices, and pages even from a running survey, however, once deleted the question and answer choice will be removed entirely, including the reports and responses.

How to clone a survey?

Birdeye allows you to clone an existing survey that can be further edited and reused to save time. Cloning a survey also allows you to edit it without any limits.

Within the ‘Surveys’ tab, navigate to the survey you wish to clone. Hover over the corresponding three-dots icon and click on the 'Clone survey' option. This will duplicate the template which can be edited and reused in a different campaign.

Once cloned, you can edit the newly created survey and save your changes by clicking on the 'Save' button on the top right corner.

Delete

NOTE:

If you clone a 'Running' survey, the cloned survey will be marked as a ‘New’ survey. When a 'Running' survey is cloned, the 'Responses' captured in the survey will not be carried into the 'New' survey.

How to delete a survey?

Navigate to the survey you wish to delete. Hover over the corresponding three-dots icon and select the 'Delete survey' option. When a pop-up message appears on the page, click on the 'Ok' button to confirm.

Now, the survey will be removed from your account.

Delete

NOTE:

'Running' surveys associated with ongoing campaigns can be deleted. However, it will directly impact your campaigns and respondents will be unable to view the survey if deleted. The best state to delete surveys is when they are in a 'New' state and have not been distributed.
