How Birdeye Manages Access to Your Account

Overview

Birdeye team members may need access to your account to help with implementation, account management, support, troubleshooting, or other services.

To help protect your data, access to your account is controlled based on the user's role and the work they need to perform.

Depending on the type of access, Birdeye users may have access for the duration of your partnership or for a limited period. Access is monitored and recorded to provide greater visibility into who can access your account.

How account access works

Birdeye uses two types of internal access:

Designated account team access

Members of your designated Birdeye account team may be given access to your account to help with implementation, account management, customer success, and other services included with your subscription.

This access remains available while it is required for the role and your active relationship with Birdeye.

If the person responsible for your account changes, their access is updated accordingly.

Temporary access

Other Birdeye team members may need temporary access to investigate an issue, resolve a support request, or assist with a specific task.

Temporary access is:

  • Granted only when needed.

  • Limited to the required role and access level.

  • Granted for a defined period.

  • Automatically removed when the access period ends.

Where applicable, temporary access is associated with the relevant support request or case.

Access visibility and auditing

Internal access to your account is designed to be visible and auditable.

Access activity is recorded so that account access can be monitored and reviewed. This provides greater transparency into when internal access is granted and when your account is accessed.
