Introduction
Website analytics helps you understand how AI platforms crawl, interpret, and reference your website content. By connecting your domain, you can monitor AI-related traffic signals and uncover opportunities to improve your visibility across AI-powered search and discovery platforms.
After configuration, the Website enables you to:
Monitor AI citations and indexing activity
Understand how AI platforms interact with your content
Track bot-referred and human-referred traffic
Identify visibility trends across AI platforms
Analyze website traffic coming from AI-generated answers
NOTE:
This feature is available on a request basis. Contact your Birdeye representative or Customer Success Manager to enable it for your account.
Navigate to the Website in Search AI
Go to Search AI, expand the Settings tab, and select Website.
Click Add website.
Configure Website
Follow the steps below to connect your website and complete the Website configuration.
Add Your Website URL
Enter the website domain you want to monitor in the Website URL field.
This domain will be used to analyze how AI platforms crawl, interpret, index, and reference your website content across AI-generated experiences.
For example:
Select a Supported Provider
After entering a valid website URL, select your CDN, hosting provider, or server platform from the Select a supported provider dropdown.
This helps Website Analytics generate the appropriate integration details and setup instructions required for your environment.
Set Up Your Integration
Copy the generated Key and Endpoint details and add them to your CDN, hosting provider, or server configuration to start sending Website Analytics data.
You can use the copy icons next to each field to copy the integration details.
NOTE:
The configuration steps may vary depending on your hosting provider or CDN. Refer to the provider-specific setup guides below to learn where to add the Key and Endpoint values for your environment.
Verify Your Connection
After completing the integration setup, click Verify connection to check whether your website is successfully sending Website Analytics data.
Note that the verification process may take up to 24 hours to complete after configuration changes are applied.
Connection Status
Once your Website Analytics integration is successfully verified, the status is displayed as Connected.
You can also view the same connection status from the main Website Analytics page, where all configured websites and their sync statuses are listed.
