If communication to a customer is blocked while adding contacts to the Birdeye account, or if the customer has opted out of receiving text messages, you will not be able to send any further communication to the customer.
CASE 1
If communication to a customer is blocked while adding contacts to the Birdeye account, or if the customer has opted out of receiving text messages, you will not be able to send any further communication to the customer.
CASE 2
If the customer has opted out of receiving any communication from the business, either by unsubscribing or sending the universally acceptable 'STOP' command, an 'Opted out' message would appear at the bottom of the screen.
IMPORTANT:
In both use cases, businesses will not be able to send messages to the customer.
FURTHER COMMUNICATION
If the customer who has opted out of receiving communication 'initiates' a new conversation by sending a text message to the business phone number. The customer will now move out of the 'Blocked' state, and the business will be able to resume communication with the customer.
