How do I edit contact information within Birdeye?

Birdeye allows businesses to edit contact information at any point in time using a single unified dashboard. As a multi-location account owner, you can also add or remove locations assigned to a contact.

Editing Contact Information

Log in to your Birdeye account and click on the 'Contacts' tab on the left navigation rail to view all the contacts added to your Birdeye account.

On the 'Contacts' page, hover over the contact that you wish to edit. Click on the corresponding 'Actions' drop-down button and select the 'Edit' option.

When a slider opens on the right, you can view the contact information, including 'Name', 'Email', 'Mobile number', 'Location' (for a multi-location account), 'Permissions', 'Custom fields,' and 'Tags'. Make the changes you want and save the settings.

NOTE: When you delete contacts, message history is tied to the contact record. If you delete a contact to remove duplicates, all text messages associated with that contact (including message history for that phone number) will also be removed.
