Using Birdeye's robust contact management system, businesses have the ability to manage, organize and sort contacts according to their business needs.
NOTE:
As an enterprise-level business owner, you can manage your contacts across all the locations of your business, view contact journey and download the list of contacts. As a 'Location' level user, you can view the contacts only for the locations assigned to you.
Managing Contacts
To manage contacts, log into your Birdeye account and click the 'Contacts' tab on the left navigation rail. Here you can view all the contacts added to your Birdeye account.
The contact information is categorized under four sections: 'Contact name,' 'Channel,' 'Experience score,' 'Location' and 'Last activity.' In a multi-location account, you will view the 'Locations' column. Here, you will have the ability to search for contacts using the 'Search' icon.
NOTE:
To search for a contact, use the contact's 'Name,' 'Email,' or 'Phone number.'
If a contact has an invalid email address or phone number, the corresponding channel icon is highlighted in red.
To update the contact information, hover over the contact, click the three-dot (More) menu, and select Edit. In the drawer that opens on the right, update the required details and click Save to apply your changes.
To view the communication is opted-in or out for a contact, select 'Edit' by hovering over the desired contact from the three dot menu icon.
Under the Communication preference section, you can see the email, text, and WhatsApp opt-ins and outs. To know more about the 'opt-in and out' permissions, read this help center article: How do I manage permissions for contacts added to my Birdeye account?
Applying Filters on Contacts
To view contacts sorted by various filters, including 'Location,' 'Source,' 'Last activity,' and more, navigate to the 'Filters' section on the right. Now, click on the 'See all filters' button to view more filters.
When a window pops up, select the filters you want and click on the 'Apply' button to apply the filters.
In a multi-location account, if you want to view contacts added to a particular location, use the location filter in the 'Filter by' section.
At any point, if you wish to reset the filters, click on the 'Clear' button at the top of this section. To delete a single filter, click on the corresponding 'x' icon.
