How do I engage referral leads?

After running a referral campaign, you can easily manage the incoming leads and interact with them through Inbox. Once a referral lead is received, you can also quickly send a 'thank you' note to the referrer and send referral rewards or a welcome note to the lead.

INTERACTING WITH REFERRAL LEADS FROM INBOX

Using Birdeye Inbox, you can communicate with both the referrers and referral leads. All the leads are shown with a 'Green fire' icon within the inbox, which allows you to quickly identify them. HANDY TIP: Hover over the 'Green fire' icon to view the lead source.

SENDING A WELCOME NOTE

Once a referral lead is generated, you can send a welcome note to the lead within the inbox. To proceed, click on the ‘Send a welcome note’ button.

After the welcome note is sent, it will show up in the conversation panel.


SENDING A THANK YOU NOTE TO THE REFERRER

To send a ‘Thank you’ note, click on the ‘Send a thank you note’ button in the conversation panel for the referrer.

Using this handy option, you can also reward your customers for referring your business to their friends and family.

VIEWING LEAD DETAILS

To view the referral lead details, go to the ‘Referrals’ tab on the left navigation rail. On the 'Referrals' page, go to the ‘Leads’ tab. Navigate to the desired lead and click on the corresponding ‘View details’ button. You will see the lead details along with the referrer’s details. Now, click on the “Message” button to send a message to the lead, as shown below.

NOTE:

If you have already sent rewards to your customer offline, you can also mark it as sent within the referrals dashboard. To perform this action, go to the ‘Referrals’ tab on the left navigation rail and click on the ‘Leads’ tab. On the new screen, navigate to the lead and click on the ‘View details’ button. When a window pops-up, click on “Mark as sent”.
