How do I set up multiple reminders for an email campaign?
When you send out a review, customer experience or a survey request email, it may not always be possible for your customer to respond to the email immediately. Hence, Birdeye allows you to send multiple reminders to provide that little nudge that may spur your customer into action.
You can set (or turn off) reminders for all the emails configurable on our platform. You can also select the interval at which the reminder messages will be sent on a scale of 1 to 30 days and the total number of reminder messages on a scale of 1 to 5 emails.
SETTING UP MULTIPLE EMAIL REMINDERS
To set reminders for your email campaign, log in to your Birdeye account and click on the 'Campaigns' tab on the left navigation rail. On the new page, go to the 'Campaigns' tab and click on the 'Create campaign' button on the top right.
This opens a pop-up window where you can select the type of campaign you want to run: 'Custom', 'Review request', 'Customer experience', 'Survey', or a 'Referral' campaign. For configuring multiple reminders, let us take a ‘Review request’ campaign as an example.
On the new page, you can customize your reminder emails by navigating to the last section of the campaign labeled as ‘Send reminder emails'.
Click on the toggle button to turn the reminders on. You now have the option to further customize the frequency of reminder emails and the intervals between them.
You can customize the following elements under 'Reminders':
'Reminder email subject' - Allows you to customize the subject line in your reminder emails. Please make sure to click on the 'Save' button in order for the customization process to be complete.
'Number of reminders' - Allows you to customize the number of reminder emails that could be sent following your review request email. You can set these between 1-5.
'Interval between reminders' - Allows you to space out your reminders. You can set this for anytime between 1-30 days.
If you do not want your customers to receive reminder emails, you have the option to ‘turn off' the reminder email button at any point in time.
