How to create and manage Google Business Profile (GBP) Q&A via Birdeye?
Google Q&A Deprecation Notice
Google has announced the deprecation of the Google Business Profile (GBP) Q&A API, effective November 3, 2025.
After this date, businesses will no longer be able to manage Q&A through API connections, including features that automate the creation, editing, or deletion of Q&A content via third-party integrations such as Birdeye.
Upcoming Changes
Beginning November 3, 2025, Google will discontinue API access for Business Profile Q&A.
Here’s what to expect:
- API-based Q&A management (automated updates, bulk imports, or programmatic edits) will no longer function.
- You might be able to view and respond to customer questions manually through your Google Business Profile dashboard for the time being.
- Historical Q&A data will continue to reside within Birdeye, and we are evaluating alternative ways to repurpose this content to boost your online visibility and engage customers across channels.
Businesses are encouraged to review and download existing Q&A data before the deprecation date to ensure record retention.
