How to Approve and Reject Google Suggestions in Listings
Keeping your business listings accurate on Google is crucial for earning customer trust and enhancing discoverability. With Google Suggestions Approve/Reject, you can now review and take action on suggested updates from Google, such as changes to your hours, phone number, or business category—directly from the Listings AI tab. This ensures that your listing information remains correct, up to date, and aligned with your brand, while preventing inaccurate auto-applied changes from affecting your business presence.
What Are Google Suggestions?
Google Suggestions are updates proposed by users (or even by Google) to business listings shown in Google Maps and Search. These can include edits to basic details like your business hours, phone number, category, address, or website.
Anyone can suggest these edits via the Suggest an edit link in Google Maps. Suggestions are reviewed by Google before applying to ensure accuracy

In your Listings AI tab, these suggestions appear as Google Suggestions. You can then review, approve, or reject them—giving you control over your listing’s accuracy.

NOTE:
Accepted changes are pushed across all connected listing sites. Changes may not appear on Google if your Google account isn’t connected.

When you select ‘Reject,’ a pop-up box appears where you can drop a comment (optional), providing context for rejection. Click ‘Reject’ in the pop-up box to confirm the rejection.
The suggestion is dismissed. It is immediately removed from the Pending section. The suggestion then appears under the ‘Rejected’ section.
