How do I set up and use the 'Allowlist' and 'Denylist' keywords within Categories?
Birdeye allows you to define 'Allowlist' and 'Denylist' keywords and adjectives within your dashboard. This feature allows you to add keywords and adjectives you always want to see as part of the keyword cloud and those you don't.
WHAT ARE ALLOWLIST KEYWORDS?
'Allowlist' keywords and adjectives allow you to add words that you would like the system to add to the keyword cloud even if these words do not exist within the customer feedback collected thus far. By adding these words, you can ensure that these keywords will be available for analysis in the future in case someone uses them.
WHAT ARE DENYLIST KEYWORDS?
'Denylist' keywords and adjectives allow you to direct the system to weed out select words from the keyword cloud. Abuses and other profanities and unintelligible words would be examples of 'Denylist' keywords.
HOW TO SET UP WITHIN CATEGORIES?
To define 'Allowlist' and 'Denylist' keywords, click on 'Settings,' then navigate to the 'Insights' section, and select 'Keywords and adjectives'
After adding the words (keywords and adjectives) within relevant sections, your settings will look like this:
Click on ‘Edit’ to edit the keywords and adjectives within relevant sections. Select the appropriate keywords/adjectives you want to allow/deny.
Click on ‘Save’ to save the changes.
