As a business, you must take proactive measures to withstand competition in the market. Birdeye provides you with the necessary insights into your competitors' performance in your Birdeye dashboard.

Reports under Competitor tab

If you wish to compare your business with your competitors, make sure you have added them to your dashboard. Birdeye gives you four types of reports to study your competitor performance:

• Competitive ranking
• Rating over time
• Reviews over time
• NPS over time

To study your competitor reports, log into your Birdeye account and click on the 'Competitors' tab.

Competitive Ranking report

On the new page, you will be able to view your competitor data and your position among your competitors. You can view the average star ratings and number of reviews. 

Rating over time report

Now, hover over the 'Overview' drop-down menu and click on the 'Rating over time' option under 'Reviews & rating'.

Here, you can view your competitors' progress over time. It shows the change in the average rating of your competitors over time. If you wish to hide/unhide a competitor's data, you need to check/uncheck the corresponding box for that competitor.

This report can be viewed in 'Chart' and 'Table' formats. To change the format, click on the 'Chart' drop-down menu and select the 'Table' option.

Birdeye also gives you the ability to download the report in 'Excel' format. To download the report, click on the 'Actions' drop-down menu and click on the 'Download this report' option.

Reviews over time report

If you wish to view the 'Reviews over time' report, hover over the 'Overview' drop-down menu, and click on the 'Reviews over time' option under 'Reviews & rating'. This report shows the 'number of reviews' your competitors have received over time. To understand the features of this report, refer to the features of the 'Rating over time' report mentioned above.

NPS Over time Report

If you wish to view the 'NPS Report', hover over the 'Overview' drop-down menu, and click on the 'NPS report' option under 'NPS scores'. This report shows the 'NPS scores' of your competitors and can be studied as the 'Rating over time' report.
