Integrating Birdeye with Dentrix Ascend API
Dentrix Ascend is a web-based Practice Management Software (PMS) that offers front office, clinical and business tools for dental practices. Integrating Dentrix Ascend with Birdeye will automate the process of sending out review requests to customers on a daily basis.
Once Birdeye is integrated with Dentrix Ascend, Birdeye will pull data pertaining to patients who visited the practice the day before. Birdeye collects the first name, last name, email address and phone number of your customers securely and automatically sends them review requests based on the preferences set within the Birdeye dashboard.
Birdeye allows you to fetch data from your CRM using some predefined triggers.
Here is the supported trigger for Dentrix Ascend:

This trigger is used to book/confirm/cancel/reschedule appointments via the Birdeye widget (Writeback in PMS). It's required for reminders. |
Dentrix Ascend Appointment Upsert Trigger Service |
This trigger is used to fetch appointments created or updated in Dentrix Ascend API based on the frequency set in the Integration dashboard. It's required for reminders. |
Dentrix Ascend Recall Trigger Service |
This trigger is used to fetch appointment details which have been marked for recall from Dentrix Ascend API CRM based on the frequency set in the Integration dashboard. |
Jotform Submission Webhook Trigger |
This trigger is used to upload forms to Dentrix Ascend -API CRM. It's required for forms. |
To set up the initial part of the integration with Birdeye, reach out to the Birdeye technical support team @ 1-800-561-3357 Ext. 3 or email them at - support@birdeye.com. The Birdeye support team would need your Dentrix Ascend Organization ID, Username, and Password to set up the initial part of the integration.
Onboarding Steps
To establish a connection with a client, please provide the following details to Matt.Meagher@henryscheinone.com.
1. Customer Name
2. Location address
3. Customer ID
4. Location ID (If different from the Customer ID)
By providing these details, customers can seamlessly connect with the Birdeye Live app. Dentrix Ascend will share the details with the Birdeye support team, which is required for the initial setup.
