What are the steps involved in integrating PMS with Birdeye using Sikka utility?

Birdeye has partnered with Sikka Software Corporation to develop applications that can pull patient data (patient name, email ID and phone number only) from the healthcare provider's Patient Management System into the Birdeye system daily. This information is used to send out review requests at the end of the day to the patients who were seen by the medical practitioner that day. Sikka Software is installed on the client's server, where the PMS system is already running, to set up the integration function. When the integration is complete, Sikka pulls data from the client’s system and stores it in its secure cloud storage. Birdeye then pulls the customer data from the cloud storage and automatically sends out review requests to the patients based on the preferences set by the client within their Birdeye dashboard.

Before you start the integration process, you will need access to the business ID for your Birdeye account. Every account on Birdeye has a unique ID assigned to it when it is created. To access the business ID, navigate to the 'Settings' icon, click the 'Account' tab on the left navigation rail and select the 'Billing' sub-tab. You will find the 'Account ID' under the section labeled 'Account Status.'

Another way to get the Business ID.
Log in to your Birdeye account and click on the 'Settings' icon at the top-right corner. Once the new page appears, click on the 'Integrations' tab and select 'API.' 


You will find the numbers labelled 'Business ID' and 'API key' shown in the image.


If you are a reseller, you can find the unique business ID by logging into your Birdeye dashboard and selecting 'Businesses' from the left navigation rail.

Before starting the Sikka installation process, ensure you are logged in as an administrator on the server that stores your PMS data and that all Windows updates have been successfully installed. Also, ensure you have your mobile device near you with the Sikka app installed, as it will be required to access the code during the two-factor authentication process, which is required as part of HIPPA compliance.

Alternatively, you can go to the Google Play Store on your Android smartphone and search for ''Practice Mobilizer''. The Sikka app will have Sikka Software Corporation as the developer's name.


To download the Sikka Practice Mobilizer app on your iOS smartphone, follow this link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/practice-mobilizer/id1116271783?mt=8.

Alternatively, you can go to the Apple Play Store on your iOS smartphone and search for ''Practice Mobilizer''. The Sikka app will have Sikka Software Corporation as the developer's name.


Follow these steps to link Sikka:

Go to https://sikkasoft.com/Marketplace and click on 'Marketplace Login/Signup.'


In the search box, type Birdeye, click on the search icon and then click on Birdeye.


It will redirect you to the next page, where you can click 'Register.'


On the Order page, click on 'Next.'


Select 'No' for the question Are you a Sikka Customer?



To add a signature to the BAA form, scroll down to the agreement, check 'I AGREE,' and click 'Submit.'


Fill in the details mentioned on the sign-up page (Practice details and your details). Set the password as 'Birdeye@123'/P@55word and click on 'Next.'


Your order will be successfully placed, and the screen below will be displayed. 


Go to https://sikkasoft.com/Marketplace and click 'Marketplace Login/Signup' and 'Sign in' using the above credentials. Click on 'Welcome User.'


Click on the 'Welcome User dropdown' and select 'My Account.'


Under My Account, click on 'Download SPC.'


Run the SikkaUtilityInstaller.exe once downloaded.


Click on 'Continue (Not Recommended).'


Enter the 'Registered Email ID' and click on the last option, 'To authenticate using password above, click here,' and then click 'Next.'


Enter the practice management system details and click 'Next.'


The download and installation process takes a few minutes.


Once the installation is complete, click on 'Done.'


Launch the Sikka soft utility and click on 'Refresh Data.'
