Integrating Birdeye with Encompass
Encompass is a digital mortgage CRM solution used by small and mid-sized businesses to manage the loan lifecycle and maintain a single system of records to close compliant loans. It helps lenders and investors generate leads, build relationships, stay compliant and grow faster. Integrating Encompass with Birdeye will automate the process of sending out review requests to clients on a daily basis.
Once the integration is complete, Birdeye will pull client information from Encompass once daily from the cases that were closed on the previous day. Birdeye collects the first name, last name, email address, and phone number of your clients and automatically sends them review requests based on the preferences set within the Birdeye dashboard.
Birdeye allows you to fetch data from your CRM using a predefined trigger. Here is the supported trigger for Encompass:

To setup integration with Birdeye, please get in touch with the Birdeye technical support team at 1-800-561-3357 Ext. 3 or email them at - support@birdeye.com. To integrate with Encompass, the Birdeye support team would require your Lender's name, Encompass Instance ID, and Lender's Client ID. Then the Birdeye support team will request access to Encompass for your account. Post getting access, you will have to create an API user with the client ID provided by the Birdeye support team.
Creating an API user on Encompass
Follow the below steps to create an API user for Birdeye on your Encompass instance:
Navigate through the following path: Encompass > Settings > Company/User Setup > Organisation/Users. Then click on the ‘+’ icon to Add a new user.
Fill in the Client ID provided by the Birdeye Support team in the API Client ID and the other required fields on this page.
Do not give access to the Super Administrator Personas; however, the persona whose access is to be given must have access to Loan Officer Connect. Make sure that this Persona has the rights to access loan data while it is in the milestone stage which is configured in setup(Milestone stages for which review request should be sent).
Follow the below steps to find the correct milestone names on your Encompass instance:
- Log in to your Encompass instance.
- Navigate to Encompass -> Settings -> Company/User Setup -> Milestones
- Select the desired milestones for which review request needs to be sent.
Completing the integration process
Please contact the Birdeye support representative to complete the integration process with Encompass.
While you are on the integration setup call, you may also ask for a specific time delay in sending review/survey requests for any or all of the four different cases - closed work order, on-site visits, move-in, and notice. You can also specify the desired review request/survey template (configured in your Birdeye account) that will be used to send review/survey requests once the integration is complete.
