How to Opt-in to the Reserve with Google?

‘Reserve with Google’ is a feature on Google Business Profile that enables customers and prospects of certain businesses to request appointments directly from their Google Business Profile on Search and Maps. 

Birdeye customers can opt-in to enable the ‘Book Online’ button directly through the platform. When a business toggles on the ‘Reserve with Google’ feature on the platform, it will be provided with an integrated scheduling widget. This widget allows end customers to add their details, select suitable time slots, and request appointments. The appointment requests will be sent to the Birdeye Inbox with all the necessary details, requiring business users to track and fulfil them.

NOTE: 

Reserve-with-Google is available only to certain businesses that meet Google's prerequisites. Please connect with your client service representative to request a feasibility check before enabling it on the platform.

If you want to opt-in to Reserve with Google, follow the steps below.

Step 1- Log in to the Birdeye dashboard. Click on the 'Settings' button at the top of the screen, then select 'Business' in the 'Business Info' tab.


Step 2- Select the location for which you want to opt-in for the feature. After clicking the location, on the 'Manage Your Business Profile' screen, scroll down to the 'Additional Information' section. 

If you are a single location account, you will land directly on the 'Manage Your Business Profile' page.  

Step 3- Click the 'Pencil' icon to edit.


Step 4- Click the toggle button to opt-in for the 'Reserve with Google' feature, and then click on ‘Save’ to save the changes.

Once saved, a toast message will appear on the screen that reads, 'Your changes have been saved.'

NOTE:

 It will take 24 to 48 hours for the 'Book Online' button to appear on your platform.
