How do I set up request appointments for un-integrated accounts/locations?
Birdeye Appointments is an all-in-one platform to help you streamline appointments. We also support appointment scheduling for those that don’t have one of the PMSs we support.
There are two flows:
- Accounts without a CRM
- Accounts with a CRM
Within both flows, Birdeye offers settings to configure an appointments widget and a form to “Request Appointment.”
This is covered in three sections: setting up a widget, customizing the user experience on your website, and managing the appointments within the Birdeye platform.
For setting up a widget,
Enable the ‘Allow customers to only request appointments’ button in the ‘Preferences’ section of setting up an appointment widget. You can also enable ‘Show only slots for requesting’ on the same screen.
Rest, follow the steps mentioned in the article How do I set up appointments via Birdeye?
For Scheduling a visit,
You can embed an appointment scheduling widget on your website. Website visitors can request appointments on the business’s calendar for a visit. Request an appointment from the Appointment URL generated - choose the locations, service, and doctor. The slots visible are based on the free slots of the doctors in the patient management system. Once the slot is selected and the details are filled, the appointment should get requested.
Post-clicking on Request appointment, you’ll get the appointment request received confirmation screen.
Appointments for un-integrated accounts without CRM
For appointment windows, Birdeye pulls information from your ‘Business Hours’ already configured within your Birdeye Profile. The CTA will say “Request appointment” instead of ‘Book appointment.’
Appointments for un-integrated accounts with a CRM
If the account has a few integrated, and a few unintegrated locations, they will be able to select the setting to apply to the different locations.
Within ‘Inbox,’ users can ‘Approve’ appointment requests to sync that information back to their CRM. You also have the option to ‘reschedule and cancel the appointment request.
The Appointment requested reflects in the appointment calendar. You can ‘Approve,’ ‘Reschedule,’ and ‘Cancel’ the same from there as well.
Once approved, the appointment gets moved to Booked status.
