Control how long your survey remains available by configuring an expiration date and time. Once the survey expires, it automatically stops accepting new responses.
Handy Tip: You can configure Expiry Settings while creating a new survey. If the survey is already created, you can edit the survey and update its expiry settings.
Configure expiry settings
From the Birdeye dashboard, go to Surveys.
Create a new survey or open the survey you want to edit.
Open the survey you want to configure the expiry settings by clicking the survey name, or search for the survey using the Search icon. You can also click the three-dots icon and select Edit to view responses.
Go to Edit Settings > Expiry Settings.
Choose how you want the survey to expire:
Close now: Immediately closes the survey and stops it from accepting new responses.
Schedule expiry: Automatically closes the survey on a specific date, time, and time zone.
Enable Allow active sessions to finish to allow respondents who have already opened the survey to complete it after the survey expires.
Under Redirect respondents to this page after survey closes, enter the URL where respondents should be redirected after the survey closes.
Click Save.
Your survey will now expire according to the settings you configured.
