How to create blog posts with the Blog Page Agent

Overview

The Blog Page Agent helps you generate publish-ready, brand-aligned blog content from a blog topic and the information provided in the Content hub.

The agent uses the configured brand context and workflow to research, structure, write, and optimize the blog. You can review the generated content, recommended images, and Content Score before publishing the blog.

Before you begin

Make sure you have:

  • A configured Blog Page Agent. To learn how to configure the agent, see How to Configure the Blog Page Agent.

  • A configured Brand Identity.

  • A blog topic or subject.

  • Any keywords or specific requirements you want the blog to address.

  • Supporting documents, images, or reference material, if applicable.

The Brand Identity provides the brand context used when generating content.

Create a blog post

Go to the Content hub in the left navigation rail.

Select Create content.

Select Blog Post.

Step 1: Enter the blog details

  • Enter a name for your blog.

  • Select the Brand Identity you want to use.

  • Then select the configured Blog Agent.

  • Click Continue at the top right of the page.

Step 2: Configure the blog setup

Enter the information you want the agent to use when generating the blog.

Enter the topic or brief you want the blog to cover, or you can click Generate a topic to let AI create a topic brief for you.

You can also paste a YouTube video link as source material.

Depending on the configuration available to your account, you can choose whether to include:

  • Internal links

Generate the blog

After providing the required information, continue to generate the blog.

The Blog Page Agent processes the provided topic, keywords, intent, objective, attachments, and brand context to create the content.

Blog generation is a longer-running process because blogs are long-form content.

Click Generate to create the blog.

Review and edit the generated blog

Once the blog is generated, you can review the content directly in the Content hub.

You can manually edit individual sections before publishing.

The generated content also includes content optimizations based on the configured blog strategy, including keyword and section structure.

Review the Content Score

The Blog Page Agent evaluates generated content across five parameters:

  1. Intent Match

  2. Search Visibility

  3. Content Depth

  4. Brand Alignment

  5. Publishing Readiness

The Content score helps identify areas where the generated content can be improved.

When improvement opportunities are identified, it can provide recommendations for improving the content.

For example, a recommendation may suggest adding internal links or improving an H2 heading for a long-tail query.

Apply a suggested improvement

  1. Review the recommendation.

  2. Select Fix this.

  3. Review the suggested change.

  4. Apply the suggested improvement if it meets your requirements.

After editing the content, the score can be recalculated to reflect the updated content.

Publish the blog

After reviewing and editing your blog, you can publish it to WordPress from the Content hub.

Connect a WordPress account

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.

  2. Add or connect your WordPress account.

WordPress accounts can be managed through the Integrations tab in the Birdeye Settings.

Blog publishing

  • Open the generated blog.

  • Review the content and Content Score.

  • Click Publish.

  • Select the WordPress account you want to publish to.

  • Complete the publishing flow.
