Introduction
Apple Business is Apple’s platform that allows businesses to manage how their information appears across Apple services, such as Apple Maps, Siri, Apple Wallet, and more.
It helps businesses create and manage their digital presence through detailed Place Cards, ensuring accurate and trusted information is displayed to customers. Businesses can update their listings, add photos, manage contact details, and enhance discoverability across the Apple ecosystem.
As a certified integration partner, Birdeye helps businesses manage and update their Apple Business listings, improving visibility and customer engagement.

Notes On Listing Details For Apple Maps
Apple validates business information against trusted sources, such as your website and third-party platforms.
To ensure successful updates:
Business name, address, and phone number must match across all platforms
Inconsistent data may result in rejected updates
Important behavior:
Apple removes appended location names from business titles
Example: “Caring Posh Vets, Palo Alto” → “Caring Posh Vets”
Best Practices for Successful Updates
Maintain consistent business information across platforms (Yelp, website, directories)
Resolve discrepancies promptly
Understand that Apple has final authority over listing updates
Use additional fields like categories, attributes, and action links to enhance your Place Card
While Birdeye streamlines the process of updating and managing your Apple Business listings, Apple independently verifies and approves all updates before they appear publicly.
