Understanding monthly billing within Birdeye Payments

Updated today

Birdeye offers a convenient solution for businesses by allowing them to pay the transaction fees at the end of the month instead of per transaction. This can reduce the burden of managing the fees per transaction and simplify the reconciliation process.

Birdeye provides a detailed report that includes a breakdown of all transactions, highlighting the monthly fees that Birdeye charges, making it easier for businesses to review.

IMPORTANT:

If you are interested in opting for the ‘Monthly Bill’ feature, contact the customer support team. An expert will provide you with detailed instructions and help you enable the feature.

Monthly Billing

To view the monthly bill, go to the ‘Payments’ dashboard.

The amount shown in the Monthly Bill header is the Birdeye transaction fee for providing the service. It is deducted from the business's bank account at the end of each month for easy reconciliation.

Email

Birdeye will email business owners after their monthly billing amount has been deducted, informing them of the applied transaction fees.

You can also download the detailed report of transactions by clicking on the ‘Download XLS’ option.

NOTE:

The email will only be sent to users assigned as 'Owner' in the dashboard.

Reserve Fund

Birdeye requires a reserve amount to avoid payment issues if you choose to pay every month. You can view the reserve fund by clicking on the ‘Available balance.’

Reserves will be collected via connecting to a bank account, and once connected, both the monthly bill and the reserves will be collected from the same bank account.
