How to restrict communication?
Birdeye provides a user-friendly campaign and automation management system that allows business owners to communicate via email and text. Users can manage the communications to the contacts added on the 'Manage campaigns' page.
Birdeye allows you to restrict communication within your Birdeye account to avoid repetitive follow-ups and review request emails or texts to the contacts.
1. Log in to your Birdeye account and click 'Campaigns.'
2. Click on 'Automations' or 'Campaigns.' In addition, click on the 'Gear icon.'
3. Click on the 'Toggle button' to limit communication.
4. To set the limit, click on the 'drop-down arrow', and you can set the limit for a contact.
KEY INFORMATION:
- Text messages are only sent to contacts between 8:00 AM and, to minimise disruption, 8:00 PM. The business location that provides its service determines the time zone setting.
- This applies to both Campaigns and Automations.
- This does not affect requests sent via Quick Send or Inbox.
- The email or text frequency limit applies to each campaign type. For example, if you have already reached your limit in sending a review request to a contact, you can still send them a survey.
- Suppose a contact is added to multiple locations, and you have reached the frequency limit for that contact in one location. In that case, communications can always be sent to them from other locations.
- Reminder emails do not count towards the sent number or the email frequency limit.
