How to Enable Browser Notifications for Birdeye Inbox?

Business users can configure browser notifications to get real-time alerts for incoming messages. After you log in to your Birdeye account, you will receive notifications.

NOTE:

To receive browser notifications, ensure that notification settings are enabled in Birdeye, your browser, and your computer settings.

Enabling Browser Notifications Within Birdeye

Go to ‘Settings,’ navigate to the ‘Account’ tab and click ‘Users.’

Hover over the desired user and click ‘Manage user.’

Under the ‘Inbox Alerts’ section, ensure that the ‘Pause browser notifications’ box is deselected (unchecked) to enable browser notifications. After making this change, click ‘Update,’ then log out and log back in to ensure the settings have been applied.

NOTE:

If the box is selected (checked), browser notifications will be paused, and you will not receive inbox notifications.

Alternatively, users can enable browser notifications by navigating to the ‘Notifications.’

Click ‘Edit your notifications.’

Select the business location to enable browser notifications and click ‘Edit notifications.’

Scroll down to the ‘Inbox Alerts’ section and ensure ‘Pause browser notifications’ is not selected. If it is, uncheck or deselect the box and click ‘Save.’

NOTE:

Browser notifications do not work in incognito mode.
