With a fully platform-hosted solution, you can set up text messaging on your business landline number right from the Birdeye account. To enable texting on your business landline number, Birdeye has a simple three-step process that customers can initiate right from their Birdeye account.
ENABLE TEXTING ON LANDLINE
- Click on the ‘Settings’ tab.
- Select the location of your business under the ‘Location’ tab.
- Click on the ‘Change to landline number’ link.
- Verify your number.
- You will receive a call to verify your number, a code will display.
- Enter ‘Code’ on your phone.
- Click on the ‘Verification complete’ button.
- ‘Sign’ the letter of authorization.
- Enter your ‘Job Title’, ‘Phone Number’, and ‘Email Address.’
- Click on the ‘Send Email’ button to complete.

DISPLAY TEXTING NUMBER ON REVIEW PROFILE
Birdeye now allows businesses to display texting numbers on the review profile, enabling customers to get in touch with businesses instantly. The new feature enhances the customer experience and promotes ease of use among customers.
- Go to the ‘Settings’ tab.
- On the new page, scroll down to the ‘Birdeye Listing’ section.
- Click the ‘Gear Icon’ on the right.
