What do the different statuses within Birdeye Listings mean?

Listings have five different statuses: ‘Synced,’ ‘Submitted,’ ‘Need Updates,’ ‘Opted Out,’ and ‘Not Connected.’ The image below displays the corresponding icons for each status.

Synced

When a user’s business information is successfully updated on a listing site, the status changes to ‘Synced.’ For this status to apply, the information in Birdeye and the listing site must match. If the data in the user’s Birdeye profile is accurate but not updated on the listing sites, users can select ‘Sync Now’ to automatically push the correct information. Once the update is reflected on the listing site, the status will indicate ‘Synced.’

Submitted

The Submitted status indicates that Birdeye has successfully sent the latest business information to the listing sites. Once submitted, each listing site reviews and processes the update before publishing it.

Because update timelines vary by publisher, some listing sites may take up to 14 days to review and publish the changes. During this review period, the listing remains in the Submitted status until the update is reflected on the publisher's site.

Need Updates

Need updates indicate that there are listings that require updates to sync. Click ‘Update’ to update the listings or contact Birdeye support for assistance.

Opted Out

When a user opts out of a listing site, the listing details are no longer visible, and the user is unable to update, submit, or sync information for that listing.

Not Connected

Not connected displays the listing sites that are not connected or integrated within your Birdeye account.
