How to fix listings?
Birdeye helps businesses fix their business information on their online listings through its online partners. The information published on 50+ listings is fetched from within the Birdeye dashboard.
Fix your listings by updating your business information:
Click on the 'Settings' tab on the left navigation rail of your Birdeye dashboard, then click on 'Business profiles' under the 'Profile' header.
If you are a multi-location user, post-clicking 'Business profiles,' select the desired business location you would like to add business information.
Now, you can update your business information under the 'Profile' tab.
Prerequisites:
1. Name: The name on the business listing should reflect the real-world business name as used on the website.
2. Address: The location address or service area should be precise. Some online directories do not accept P.O. Boxes or mailboxes located at remote locations.
HANDY TIP: Make sure your business location is accurately visible on maps.
3. Phone number: The phone number should be correct and must connect to your individual business location as directly as possible. For more information on guidelines for updating the phone number, refer to the help article: Best practices to update business listings
4. Map marker: Your location should clearly appear on Google Maps. If there is an error in the ZIP code or any other information, the marker may appear inaccurately on Google Maps.
5. Hours: It is mandatory to add your business hours. You can also update Special hours.
6. Keywords: This field helps you update the relevant keywords for your business. Commas should separate multiple keywords, which can only be up to 50 characters long.
7. Payments: Payment options cannot exceed 64 characters.
8. Profile photo and Cover photo: To fix the listing on Google, adding a profile and cover photo is mandatory.
9. Birdeye Description: The description must be 200 characters or more.
10. Other third-party listings: This section allows you to select primary and other categories needed to fix the third-party listings through Uberall, Yext and Synup. The information added in this section will appear on the third-party listings.
11. Social profile links: This section allows you to add your social profile URLs to your Birdeye review profile. You can add your profile URLs from Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and more. Ensure there should be at least one URL to fix the listing.
