How to explore and manage the all-new Listings tab for Resellers?
Explore the new Reseller-level Listings dashboard with interactive metrics and action buttons. Save time by viewing Listings and their status across your customers and locations in a single dashboard. There is no need to log into individual customer accounts to make updates or corrections.
Listings Dashboard
Click the ‘Listings’ tab on the left navigation rail.
Under the ‘Businesses’ tab, at the top of the page, you will view metrics such as the total number of businesses, locations, listings, synced, submitted, needing updates, opted out, and not connected.
You will also view a list of all active businesses under a reseller, the business IDs, the number of active locations, listings, synced, submitted, need updates, opted out, and not connected specific to the business. The metrics represented corresponding to the business names are clickable.
For example, the user can view that ‘5’ updates are needed for a particular business, as highlighted in the image below. The user can click on it to update the listings for that particular business. In our comprehensive tour of the Listings tab, we will cover each feature in detail, including how to update/fix listings.
Click on the ‘Search’ icon and enter the business name to look for a particular business.
Click the ‘Three vertical dots’ to download or email the business report.
Use the ‘Filter’ icon to filter by ‘Group or Businesses.’
Go to the ‘Locations’ tab and view all the location-level metrics, along with the location-level listings view. It displays the total number of active locations, total listings, synced listings, submitted listings, listings needing updates, opted-out listings, and not connected listings. Each metric is clickable, allowing you to view specific details about each parameter.
Click on a particular location name.
You can view listings associated with this particular location along with its ‘Status.’ Click ‘Edit profile’ to modify the location’s profile.
The below image suggests a representation of different icons under the status column.
Hover over the listing name, click ‘Actions,’ and you will view options to ‘View listing’ and ‘Opt out.’
Click the ‘Three vertical dots’ on the top right corner of the page to ‘Sync now’ the listings, ‘Download PDF’ for that particular location’s listings report, ‘Disable listings, Opt in and out’ of multiple listings.
Head to the 'Sites' tab to quickly view all listing sites and their statuses on one page.
Hover over the ‘Three vertical dots,’ click ‘Actions’ to view the options to ‘View details’ of that particular listing, and ‘Sync now’ to synchronize the listing.
Alternatively, you can click on a particular listing name.
To view the individual listing and its details such as ‘Location and Business name, Address, Phone, and Status.’
Hover over the location name, click ‘Actions,’ and select ‘Sync now’ to sync the particular location to the listing. Select ‘Opt out’/’Opt in’ to remove or add the specific location from that individual listing.
Click the ‘Three vertical dots’ on the top right corner of the page. Click ‘Sync now’ to sync all the locations across all listings. Click ‘Opt in and Opt out’ to select multiple or particular locations to opt in and opt out of the listing.
You can also view the individual sites tab to quickly access its details.
Fix/Update Listings
There are multiple ways to fix/update listings. You can go to the ‘Businesses’ tab and click the numbers in red under the ‘Need updates’ section.
Alternatively, go to the ‘Locations’ tab and click ‘Need updates.’ ‘139’ in red represents the number of listings that require the user’s action to be able to update their listings.
Case 1 - You can view the reason why this listing is yet to be synced. Click ‘Update’ to sync listings.
Clicking 'Update' will redirect the user to the ‘Manage your business profile’ section. The user can view the field it needs to update to fix listings. In this case, enter the ‘Apple category’ under the ‘Apple Business Connect Details’ section.
Once the error is fixed under the business profile, go back to the ‘Locations’ tab, click ‘Need updates,’ and the user will view a message ‘Your changes have been saved and will go live shortly,’ the listings for the particular location will be created.
You can also fix listings by clicking on a particular location.
Go to the ‘Need updates’ tab.
Case 2 - In cases where users cannot take any action, they should contact our support team at support@birdeye.com.
Other Actions
Under the ‘Locations’ tab, click ‘Listings’ to view all listing sites across all the locations and their status. ‘712’ represents the number of listings across 250 locations.
Hover over the location name, click ‘Actions’ to ‘View listing,’ ‘Update profile,’ and ‘Opt out’ of the listing.
Click ‘Submitted’ to view the number of listings submitted and are being processed by the listing sites.
Hover over the ‘Location name’ and click ‘Actions’ to ‘Update profile.’
Click ‘Not connected’ to view the locations not connected to the listings. Hover over the ‘Location name,' click ‘Actions’ to connect the location, or click ‘Update profile’ to update the profile.
Click the ‘Three vertical dots’ to ‘Publish listings,’ ‘Disable listings,’ and ‘Download error report.’
Click the ‘Filter’ icon to view the listings report by ‘Group, Businesses, Location, and Listing site.’
