Integrating Birdeye with Salesforce

Salesforce integration with Birdeye allows businesses to:

  • Send review requests to collect customer feedback.
  • Share referral requests to encourage customer advocacy.
  • Distribute surveys to gather insights and improve service.
  • Birdeye Inbox lets you connect with customers across all channels from one unified place.


Supported Integration Triggers for Salesforce Integration:

  • Sync review as a case - Activate this trigger to automatically sync customer reviews from Birdeye to Salesforce as a case.
  • New lead created - Activate this trigger to automatically add contact details of new leads from Birdeye to CRM.
  • New contact added - Activate this trigger to automatically add new and existing contact details from CRM to Birdeye.
  • Survey Response Received - Activate this trigger to automatically sync customer survey responses from Birdeye to Salesforce under the contact's field.
  • Review Received - Activate this trigger to automatically sync customer reviews from Birdeye to Salesforce under the contact's field.

Navigating to Salesforce CRM

Log in to the Birdeye dashboard and go to Settings > Integrations > All Apps. Select Salesforce CRM to connect. The screen provides integration benefits, pricing, and details on compatibility. When you click the ‘View Setup Guide’ tab, it will redirect you to this article for detailed step-by-step instructions.

HOW TO CONNECT

Step 1: Authorize 

Click Connect Now, click Authorize, enter your username and password, click Log In, enter your verification code, and click Verify.
Once verified, the CRM will be authorized. Click 'Next' to proceed.

Step 2: Map Locations

After authorizing the CRM, you can now map locations.

To map a Birdeye location, use the drop-down under the Account Name column next to the desired Birdeye location and select the integrated account.

Once mapped, click 'Next' to continue.

Step 3: Select Triggers

Check the box to select your preferred triggers, as shown in the image below. After making your selection, click 'Next.' 

You need to perform a few more steps to enable the triggers. 


Configure Review and Survey Sync

Choose the Review Custom Field, Survey Custom Field, Review Rating, and Review Source from their respective dropdowns. Once the fields are set up, the selected triggers will be activated, ensuring seamless syncing of review and survey responses with Salesforce.
Click 'Next.'

Map Review fields

To map Birdeye Review Fields, use the dropdown under the Salesforce Case Fields column next to each corresponding field. This ensures accurate case creation in Salesforce based on review details.

This step is optional. If fields are not mapped, cases will be created using default values.


Map Lead fields

To map Birdeye Lead Fields, use the dropdown under the Salesforce Lead Fields column next to each corresponding field. This ensures accurate lead creation and synchronization.
Click 'Done.'

A toast message will appear on the screen saying, 'Salesforce completed successfully.' You can now build automated campaigns for reviews, surveys, and referrals or any other custom campaigns by clicking the 'Go to Campaigns' option or skipping it.
