HOW TO CONNECT
Prerequisite
The first step is to activate the Stack™ marketplace in your AppFolio account. Ensure you have AppFolio Stack Premium access, which is required for the integration.
Only Presidential Users can activate the Stack Premium feature, incurring a monthly charge of $0.50 per connected unit (minimum $100). AppFolio Plus users can access the integration at no additional cost.
DeleteStep 1: Activate AppFolio Stack Premium
- Sign in to your AppFolio account.
- Click Add Functionality (top-right) > Integrations.
- Select Get AppFolio Stack™ Premium.
- Enter your name as an Authorized Signer > click 'Activate AppFolio Stack™ Premium.'
- Click Next.

- Click Next.
Step 3: Enable AppFolio Integration in the Birdeye Dashboard
Enter the AppFolio business name in the text box and click Send Request. The name listed in the business's AppFolio dashboard is the AppFolio business name.
Once the request is sent, the Birdeye support team will process it and enable the integration in Birdeye.
- If approved, the client will receive an approval email, and the status will change to Approved.
- If the business name is incorrect, the request will be rejected. The client will receive a rejection email and must re-enter the correct business name.
- If the client does not hear back within 48 hours, they can contact Birdeye support at 1-800-561-3357 Ext. 3 or by email.
Once approved, click 'Next.'
DeleteStep 4: Map Locations
Once the integration is established, map your Birdeye locations to ensure the data flows correctly between AppFolio and Birdeye.
If you’ve integrated multiple AppFolio accounts, map each account to its corresponding Birdeye location, then map the respective AppFolio property name. Contacts will sync from AppFolio to the respective Birdeye locations based on the mapped account & respective property name. If only one AppFolio account is integrated, the Account Name column will not appear.
Handy Tip: If a location identifier is missing for businesses with multiple Birdeye locations, refer to this article.
