Integrating Birdeye with DentalVision Enterprise

DentalVision Enterprise is a dental practice management solution (PMS) used for appointment scheduling, perio-charting, prescriptions management and more. Integrating Birdeye with DentalVision Enterprise will automate the process of sending out review requests to customers on a daily basis.

Once DentalVision Enterprise is integrated with Birdeye, Birdeye pulls patient information from DentalVision Enterprise once daily for the appointments that were completed on the previous day.

Birdeye allows you to fetch data from your PMS using a predefined trigger. Here is the supported trigger for DentalVision Enterprise:

PMS Appointment Trigger This trigger is used to fetch customer data based on the completed appointments.

To set up the integration with Birdeye, please reach out to the Birdeye technical support team @1-800-561-3357 Ext. 3 or email them at - support@birdeye.com. Birdeye technical support team will successfully set up the integration with DentalVision Enterprise through BE Connector. 

What is BE Connector?

The BE Connector application is a native Windows application for all businesses. The BE Connector application helps integrate the PMS and Birdeye system. This helps you automate the process of sending review requests to your customers after they complete an appointment.

The installation and setup process is driven by an intuitive wizard. To set up the integration, you first have to download and install the app on the machine that has access to the PMS. Once the integration is complete, the BE Connector will start pulling data from the PMS and send the data to the server for further processing. Review requests are sent as per the configurations and preferences set by the business on BE Connector.

How it works:

  1. Install BE Connector on the DentalVision Enterprise Server
  2. Integrate DentalVision Enterprise with BE Connector
  3. BE Connector’s services will start pulling customer data from the integration and automatically send review requests, based on the scheduling configuration defined

Birdeye collects the first name, last name, email address and phone number of your customers and automatically sends them review requests.
