X (formerly Twitter) is being removed from Birdeye Social
As of August 6, Birdeye Social will no longer support publishing or engagement on X (formerly Twitter). This change is due to recent API and policy updates from X that restrict our ability to provide a consistent, reliable experience.
What’s changing?
- You will no longer be able to schedule or publish posts to X from Birdeye Social.
- You will no longer see or be able to respond to X mentions, replies, or DMs within Birdeye.
- Historical reporting on X activity will remain available until August 31, 2025.
Why is this happening?
In the past year, X has significantly limited API access and introduced new terms that make it difficult for platforms like Birdeye to maintain full functionality, especially at scale for multi-location businesses. In order to focus on providing a best-in-class experience across supported networks like Facebook, Instagram, Google, and LinkedIn, we’ve decided to remove X from the platform.
What should I do?
- Download any reports or data you need from your past X activity before August 6, 2025.
- Update any active social strategies to focus on supported networks.
- Reach out to your Customer Success Manager if you need help adjusting your social plans.
We understand this change may require adjustments, and we’re here to help. If you have questions or want support in transitioning your strategy, please speak with your CSM or write to support@birdeye.com
