How to Configure Search AI Report Generation Settings

Updated today

Set up how your Search AI reports are generated by defining key configuration options such as report scope, frequency, and the AI platforms you want to track. These settings determine how insights across Citations, Visibility, Ranking, Accuracy, and Sentiment reports are compiled and delivered. By customizing this configuration, you ensure your reports align with your monitoring goals and provide meaningful, actionable data across selected AI ecosystems.

Access Report Configuration

From the left navigation panel, go to Search AI, expand Settings, and click Report. This will open the report configuration page, where you can define how your Search AI reports should be generated.

Configure Report Generation

Choose how reports should be generated based on your monitoring needs:

  • By brand: Generates reports aggregated at the brand level, giving you a holistic view across all locations.

  • By location: Generates separate reports for each location, helping you analyze performance at a more granular level.

  • By location & by brand: Combines both views, allowing you to track insights across brands as well as individual locations.

Select the option that best aligns with how you want to analyze your Search AI performance.

Set Report Frequency

Define how often the report should run:

  • Choose a frequency (e.g., Daily, Weekly, Monthly) from the dropdown.

  • This determines how frequently new data is processed and reports are generated.

Selecting an appropriate frequency ensures your reports stay up to date without over-consuming prompts.

Select AI Sites to Track

Choose the AI platforms you want to include in your reports:

  • ChatGPT

  • Gemini

  • Perplexity

  • Google AI Mode

  • Google AI Overviews

  • Grok

You can select one or multiple platforms depending on where you want to monitor your brand’s presence and performance. The reports (Citations, Visibility, Ranking, Accuracy, and Sentiment) will be generated based only on the selected platforms.

Save Configuration

Once you have configured all the settings, click Save in the top-right corner to apply your changes and start generating reports based on your selected configuration.
