Birdeye lets you prepay via card on file on the appointment scheduling widget. Payments with Appointments allows customers to save a card on file while booking appointments. Collecting a card to put on file would allow the business to enable faster payment or charge a last-minute cancellation fee, which would reduce the number of no-shows.
NOTE:
This feature is accessible only if you use Birdeye payments.
Customers can now enable ‘Card detail’ within their scheduling widget. To set up a card on file for appointments, follow the steps below:
Step 1- Click on the ‘Settings’ tab in the top right corner of the dashboard and go to the ‘Appointments’ tab.
Step 2- Click ‘Set up your widget.’
Step 3- Once your widget is created successfully, go to the ‘Configuration’ section of the widget. In the ‘Form fields’ section, enable the toggle to allow the card on file.
NOTE:
Adding card details while booking an appointment will become mandatory once you enable the card on file in your scheduling widget.
