Let's talk a bit about how Birdeye calculates the number of review requests you must send to achieve your desired review goal?

At Birdeye, we estimate the conversion rate of the requests to be around 10%. In other words, on an average, you will receive one review for every 10 requests sent. We use this probability in the following equation to calculate the number of review requests you would need to send to achieve your review goal:

Estimated number of review requests = (Desired Review Count – Existing Review Count) * 10

Let’s explain this equation with an example:

Let’s say, you have 509 reviews and you want to increase that to 547.
Here is how the equation will look:
(547 – 509) * 10 = 380 Review Requests
So, you must send 380 review requests to achieve your goal!

Now the next question is, how long will it take for you to achieve your goal?

While setting your goal, you are asked to provide an estimate of the number of requests you are likely to send in a month.

In the above example, the goal setting calculator indicates that you must send 380 review requests to achieve your goal. Let’s say, you feel that you will be able to send 100 requests in a month. The time period is calculated by dividing the total number of review requests to be sent by the number of review requests you are likely to send in a month.
